Hello, my name is Amanda. Welcome to my online gallery! Here’s a little background information on how I became interested in beadwork. Around 2014, I was using beads and sequins to create embroidered designs on felt, a method inspired by my grandmother’s hand embroidered, felt Christmas Stockings. Looking for bead inspiration on the internet, I discovered bead-weaving, specifically the peyote stitch, which is the technique used on my rope necklaces. Recently, I have started creating larger, non-functional pieces and hope to continue in that direction.
